Formed in Boston in June of 2011, Cowgill has been winning the hearts of fans at their shows at Middle East Upstairs, the rock club Church, the Occupy Boston stage, and their residency at P.A.'s Lounge, as well as Pianos in NYC. Paul Cowgill sings, writes songs, and plays acoustic guitar. Mike Truskowski (Paul's roommate of four years) takes care of backing vocals, keys, and trombone. Dan Weissman - whom they met through a mutual friend - plays the mandolin and adds eeeven more backing vocals as well as the occasional trumpet. Craigslist recruit Leeann Hackett is on violin, her high school friend Ryan Rivers slaps the bass and steps in for quite a few fourth harmony vocal parts, and his Berklee College of Music classmate Joe Pess holds it all down on drums...

He's a regular member of a number of internationally acclaimed jazz ensembles including Kenny Garrett, Pharoe Saunders, John Scofield, Pat Metheney, Sonny Stitt, and Jackie McLean to name just a small few.
A faculty member of the Hartt School at the Jackie McLean institute of Jazz, Nat is an incredible teacher and mentor to many young musicians. Featuring stellar performances by Rick Germanson (piano), Josh Bruno (horns) and Jonathan Barber (Drums), this record is sure to be a great success and a solid base for other records to follow. Orly shoots premier video for YouTube campaign
Orly is working hard to bring new content to their fans and are looking to find new ways to bring listeners to their music. Earlier this year, on a snowy day in January, we had the pleasure of recording a set of songs with Orly. We pushed our limits with the cold and managed to get what we think are some pretty great live versions of their music. I lovingly refer to this set as the "Barn Series".
